We are a well-established cardiovascular group in northern New Jersey, about 20 miles west of New York City. Our location offers many options of where to live, both urban and rural, all of which are close proximity to our practice allowing for an easy commute. Top-rated schools are abundant with both public and private options. Our area offers easy access to Manhattan via car or public transportation, camping and hiking in western New Jersey, and numerous beach towns along the Atlantic Coast. Our office is state of the art and fully equipped with onsite echo, nuclear, vascular ultrasound, CT scan and a vascular lab for interventional treatment for peripheral vascular disease. We are currently a group of nine cardiologists (2 invasive, 2 electrophysiologists, and 5 noninvasive in addition to 6 APN’s who help cover the inpatient hospital census. In addition to physician extenders you will have access to our ancillary support team which includes medical assistants, scribes, billing specialists and clerical staff. We are in need of a board certified or board eligible cardiologist, invasive or noninvasive, to accommodate increasing patient volume from a consistently expanding referral base. The duties of the position can be modified to meet your interests and skill set, but will include hospital rounds, office hours, and interpretation of diagnostic testing. In the case of an invasive candidate, there are ample volume to ensure your minimum case volume is exceeded. Call responsibilities include 1:4 weekends. Compensation is commensurate with experience and can also be modified to meet your ideal work life balance. The base salary will start at $350, or higher with the possibility for productivity bonuses and partnership, with top earning potential far exceeding the average cardiologist salary in our area. In addition, you will receive a benefit package including malpractice coverage, 401K and health/dental/vision insurance.
