CARDIOLOGIST OPPORTUNITY:Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, Center for Cardiovascular Health, in Silverdale, Washington has an immediate opening for a non-invasive Cardiologist. An ideal candidate would be well versed in multi-modality imaging including echocardiography (cocats level 3), cardiac CT, MRI, and nuclear. Expertise in all modalities is not a requirement. Recent fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply.Primary practice location is next to our state-of-the-art hospital, St. Michael Medical Center, in Silverdale, Washington, with outreach clinics throughout the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsula. Call includes 1:7 weekends, no weekday call responsibilities.This cardiovascular service line has been recognized by the American Heart Association with multiple gold and platinum awards. The American Thoracic Surgeons has awarded our cardiac surgeons with multiple 3 star awards over the history of the program. The hospital has some of the highest PCI volumes in the state and is a leader in the state for quality and outcomes. There is a robust structural heart program with TAVR and left atrial appendage occlusion. We have a total of twelve Cardiologists and 10 advanced practice practitioners. There are four interventional cardiologists, a structural cardiologist, two electrophysiologists, and an advanced heart failure cardiologist. The local service line is complemented with two cardiothoracic surgeons, four cardiac anesthesiologists, three vascular surgeons, and thoracic surgery. We work as a cohesive team to provide the highest quality cardiovascular care for the vast geographical region of the Olympic and Kitsap peninsula.
