We are currently recruiting an ABOS certified, Division Chief for our Foot and Ankle Service in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island. Our hospital is a 591 bed tertiary care facility and level 1 trauma center. We have 27 independent residency and fellowship programs. The department consist of an ACGME accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency program and a CPME accredited Podiatric Residency program. Faculty appointments are provided and are commensurate with qualifications and experience throughout the NYU Long Island School of Medicine.

Our continuously growing, academic orthopedic specialty practice resides in the heart of Long Island with two state-of–the-art clinical offices and several satellite offices. We provide subspecialty care in adult reconstructive surgery, pediatrics orthopedics, sports medicine and shoulder, elbow and hand surgery, foot and ankle surgery, spine surgery, orthopedic oncology and orthopedic trauma surgery. Our faculty practice sees approximately 9000 patients each month.

Our high-volume Foot and Ankle service treats a complete spectrum of traumatic, degenerative and developmental foot and ankle disorders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop a full service Foot and Ankle division. Our foot and ankle surgeons work closely with our orthopedic trauma surgeons, sports medicine physicians, podiatrists and endocrinologists.
