It's one thing to read about the redemptive path God wants you to take. But it's even more important for you to follow that path. It's a journey full of snares and pitfalls. The Bible in 1 Peter,
chapter 5, verse 8 reads, Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. The devil is your mortal enemy and wants to destroy you.
The devil heaves a sigh of relief when unbelievers attend a church service and make an insincere profession of faith. The devil's primary concern isn't with believers participating in fellowship meetings or attending church conferences. No, the devil's greatest fear is that of genuine repentance, a repentance marked by trust in the saving blood of Jesus Christ. It is trust that results in a miraculous change.
Jesus was slain like an innocent lamb, becoming the sinless sacrifice of all ages. As you pray in faith to Him, His blood will cover or pay for your sins with God's assurance of eternal life. The blood of Jesus is more than fire insurance; it's life assurance! His blood sacrifice is more than a down payment toward salvation. Believing and trusting in Christ is salvation itself and the believer's only hope. The blood of Jesus, when accepted, is full payment for your sins.
When traveling the road of life, the only road map worthwhile is the Bible, and far too often, it sits, dusty and unopened, in a corner.
Develop the habit of reading your Bible daily! The path Christians follow on earth leading to an eternity with God is often filled with obstacles put there by their treacherous enemy, the devil.
In the end, the devil and his demons have already been defeated. Although pleasurable for a time, yielding to the temptations of the devil always results in personal defeat. This is not The Christian Way. God provides His One and Only solution to the problem of sin which He freely offers in the Bible's book of Romans, chapter 10, verses 9 and 10:
For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.
Do you remember the question we asked you, "Are you saved?" Why not settle the question of your eternal destiny now? Eternity is just a heartbeat away.
Take a moment to review what's been said about salvation and then make Jesus the Lord of your life!
Pray a sincere prayer of repentance today, confessing your sins and asking forgiveness through Jesus Christ!
Once you confess and truly believe, you have a life-long responsibility; a responsibility to share your faith with others. As people begin to share their faith with others, they start to reach out to their family, friends, and neighbors. That’s why you may have received a personal card or have seen an announcement in a newspaper or magazine directing you to this website. The purpose of this site is to help believers develop not only an effective, but consistent means of sharing their Christian faith.
We encourage you to visit Bible Pathway’s website, but before you do, keep in mind that those who have not received God’s mercy will receive God’s justice. It is not important how fast you run the race, if you are running the race without God. It becomes a race without a finish line, true reward, or winner.
As you get older, you feel that things begin to repeat themselves, that everything looks familar. There is a reason: you may be hopelessly trapped in the past. A life without God soon turns into a path full of pitfalls and snares. It is a path without an end. Your Bible, when read along with the devotional commentary, The Best of Bible Pathway, will insure that you’re running the right race at the right pace and on the right path!
Christians must remain single-focused when traveling their spiritual path. A believer's race begins at the foot of the cross. As the believer continues his journey through life, the Lord guides him as he reads the Bible, God's revealed Word. Christians can be confident that Jesus Christ will run the race with them. The Christian Way is a journey paved by faith and prayer. There are no short-cuts in this life-long race. May we each be able to join with the Apostle Paul in the Bible's book of 2 Timothy, chapter 4, verse 7, in saying:

I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith.
