In the same way, forwarding e-mails along with a personal note can have a similar, strong impact on our own
morally decaying society. As you witness in this way, you will not need to leave your home, nor will you need to do public speaking. And unlike in some foreign countries, there is no risk of being imprisoned, tortured, or even being martyred for your faith. Nevertheless, sharing your faith is not without cost. With true, saving faith and a genuine burden for the lost, you can become a soul winner at home.
Christians are to be witnesses for Jesus Christ. There's no escaping that responsibility. Christians are destined for heaven because they believe and trust the Person of Jesus. Yet Christians can and often do live self-centered lives - lives which are far less productive than they should be. Unfortunately,
too many Christians have been absorbed by a world system rather than setting themselves apart in that world. Having lost their willingness to share Christ or even recognize the Biblical mandate to do so, many Christians not only need to learn how to share their faith
It's true: Once saved, always saved - if you're saved. The Bible teaches you cannot
lose genuine salvation. Yet the Bible also teaches that Christians must make sure of their faith. The Bible is like a mirror. Look in the Bible to find evidence of saving faith. What you find will lead you to answer the personal question: If being a Christian were against the law, would there be enough evidence to convict you? May each of us be found guilty as charged. Since you have the responsibility to witness to others, you can still be a co-worker in sharing Christ's Gospel.
