El apóstol Pablo nos dice en Colosenses 1:13-14: Porque Él nos libró del dominio de las tinieblas y nos trasladó al reino de su Hijo amado, en quien tenemos redención: el perdón de los pecados. Los Cristianos han ido demasiado lejos viviendo comodamente en una sociedad secular perdida. El momento para cambiar, cambiar de verdad, es ahora.

La Biblia también nos enseña en I Corintios 13:12 que los Cristianos se miran en un espejo empañado que empaña su entendimiento de la realidad espiritual. Es muy triste que en la actualidad los Cristianos suelen intensificar sus propios malentendidos de la Biblia confundiendo las enseñanzas seculares con la palabra de Dios. Se fían de las interpretaciones personales de los demás, aferrándose a filosofías que ellos piensan que han tenido un impacto positivo en su vida. Si bien muchos son cristianos que profesan, su fe suele yacer sobre experiencias y éxitos personales, por lo que deniegan la mano firme, pero bondadosa, de Dios.

No obstante, Dios le ha concedido a Sus fieles mostrandola protección espiritual que Él brinda, como dice en II Reyes 6: 15-17. Eliseo le pide a Dios que revele a su siervo la protección de Dios no obstante que tanto él como Eliseo están completamente rodeados del enemigo. El Señor abrió los ojos del siervo, " ... y miró, y he aquí que el monte estaba lleno de caballos y carros de fuego alrededor de Eliseo.” ¡Tanto Eliseo como su sirviente estaban rodeados por un ejército invisible, pero protector, de ángeles de Dios!

Hoy en día los cristianos necesitan ver esa misma protección de Dios --no como resultado de sus propias experiencias, sino por medio de la fe. Ahora nos miramos con oscuridad en el espejo y solo nos vemos a nosotros mismos. Optamos por admirarnos en imagen, llevandonos solo a mirar, el reflejo incompleto de deseos, necesidades y metas. Pero cuando Dios así lo quiere, Él elimina la “recubierta reflectora” y el espejo se convierte en una ventana por la que podemos ver el mundo exterior. ¡Así, los cristianos pueden ver las necesidades de los demás! En el libro de Santiago, se hace hincapié en lo mismo. Muy pronto nuestro enfoque cambiará de estar sobre nosotros a estar sobre los demás, y así es como Dios lo quiere. Es la manera bíblica y es ¡El Camino Christiano!

Los cristianos han sido absorbidos por un sistema mundial en lugar de destacarse. Han perdido su deseo de compartir a Cristo e incluso de reconocer el mandato bíblico de hacerlo y por eso muchos cristianos necesitan aprender cómo compartir su fe, y más importante, por qué. Keith y su esposa, Terry, son miembros de College Heights Chapel, una iglesia sin denominación que se encuentra en Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mi madre siempre nos amó a nosotros, sus hijos, y sacrificó todo por nosotros. Yo sé que siempre confié en mi madre para todo. Al igual que otros niños, siempre di por seguro todo lo que una madre hace. En mi niñez no entendía el amor infinito de una madre asi como crecia. Los detallitos, como tener la comida sobre la mesa, la ropa limpia, convertir nuestra casa en un hogar son unas de las muchas cosas que ella nos dio con amor.

Siempre cubrió todas mis necesidades de la vida, dispuesta a sacrificarse para que nuestras necesidades fueran lo primero satisfecho. No teníamos mucho de sobra, pero siempre tuve una madre amorosa y generosa, lo cual vale mucho más que todos los lujos del mundo. Ahora más que nunca la valoro, quizás porque sé que su amor era perenne, sin falta.

Recuerdo que cuando era niño, en Duluth, Minnesota, los E.E.U.U., muchas veces tenía que ir con ella a cortar fres as silvestres al campo de atrás y luego con esas fresas ella hacía mermelada. Ella me enseñó cómo encontrar las fresas silvestres y la disciplina de sólo cortarlas, no comérmelas. Aunque eso suene muy simplón, toda mi vida he recurrido a esa lección de disciplina. Como siempre, mi madre siempre tenía la razón.

Seguro que podría contar cientos de historias, pero quedarán encerradas en mi mente para siempre. Mi madre fue una persona que siempre acogió a cualquiera en nuestra casa. Llevo ocho años de no verla, y no por no querer verla, sino debido a que soy parapléjico. Ahora quisiera haber pasado más tiempo con ella. Ella me quería y yo la quería a ella. Recordaré a mi madre para siempre.

Mi madre me animó a asistir al catecismo. Ella me inculcó la fe en Dios. Por ser mi madre, la honraré en mi página de Internet Cristiano.

Que la fe de mi Madre en el Señor y Salvador Jesucristo le conceda a su alma eterno descanso y paz, para siempre.

We learn from the Apostle Paul in Colossians 1:13-14,“For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness, and brought us into the kingdom of the Son Who He loves, in Whom we have redemption.” Christians have grown far too content living in a lost, secular society. The time for change, real change, is now.

The Bible also teaches in I Corinthians 13:12 that all Christians look in a mirror darkly, obscuring their understanding of spiritual reality. Sadly, Christians today often intensify their own misunderstandings of the Bible by confusing secular teachings with God's truth. They rely on the personal interpretations of others, grasping at philosophies which they believe have successfully impacted their lives. Although many are professing Christians, their faith often rests on a patchwork of personal successes, thereby denying the loving, yet disciplining, hand of God.

Even so, God has allowed His faithful to see His spiritual protection as seen in II Kings 6: 15-17. Elisha asks God to reveal to his servant God’s protection even though both Elisha and his servant were completely surrounded by a warring enemy. God opened the eyes of the servant, “ ... and he looked and he saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire around Elisha.” Both Elisha and his servant were surrounded by an unseen, yet protective, army of God’s angels!

Christians today need to see this same protection by God - not as a result of their own experiences, but by faith. Now we look into a mirror dimly, seeing only ourselves. We choose to admire the image, seeing at best a broken reflection of personal desires, needs, and goals. But as God wills, He removes the “reflective lining” in the mirror, and the mirror becomes a window for us to see the outside world. Christians now see the needs of others! In the Bible's book of James, the same emphasis is recorded. Soon our focus shifts away from us to others – the Way God intended it to be. It’s Biblical, and it's The Christian Way!

Christians have been absorbed by a world system rather than setting themselves apart in that world. Having lost their willingness to share Christ or even recognize the Biblical mandate to do so, many Christians not only need to learn how to share their faith, but why. Bible Pathway’s website addresses these concerns and much more!

The Christian Way website belongs to Bible Pathway Ministries and was written by Keith Anderson. Keith and his wife, Terry, are members of College Heights Chapel, a non-denominational church located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Both Keith and Terry are confined to wheelchairs. Both are homebound with multiple sclerosis. Keith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in the German language and a Master of Arts degree in Social Administration. Terry holds Master of Arts degree and is a Registered Nurse. Keith's mom, Margaret, recently passed away, and he writes this dedication:

My mother loved us kids, and she sacrificed everything for us. I know that I trusted my mother in everything. Like other children, I took all the things a mother does for granted. I didn’t understand the never-ending love of a mother as I grew up. Little things, such as meals on the table, clean clothes, making our house a home, are only some of the many things she happily provided with love for us.

She provided every necessity of life for me, always willing to sacrifice so that we would first have our needs met. We didn’t have a lot of extra things, but I did have a loving, caring mother, which is worth more than all the luxuries in the world. I appreciate her more than ever now, perhaps because I know that her love was there, no matter what.

As I grew up in Duluth, Minnesota, I remember the frequent times I had to pick wild strawberries with her in the back field, strawberries which she would later preserve into jam. She taught me how to find patches of wild strawberries, and in doing so, the discipline of picking them, not eating them. As simple as that sounds, I carried this lesson of discipline with me the rest of my life. As always, my mother knew best.

I suppose there are hundreds of stories I could tell, but they will remain locked away in my memory forever. My mother was a person who welcomed everyone into our home. I’ve not seen her now for eight years, not because of choice, but because of my paraplegic disability. I now wish that I could have spent more time with her. She loved me, and I loved her. I’ll remember my mom, forever.

It was my mother who encouraged me to attend Sunday School. My faith in God was inspired by her. As my mother, she will be remembered in this Christian website.
